VaporBLUNT 2.0 Tips and Tricks

VaporBLUNT 2.0

The VaporBLUNT 2.0 is definitely one of the best portable vaporizer options out there. It is just small enough to take with you when you hit the road, but powerful enough to really give you a great vape experience that you normally expect from only table top units. We wanted to share some tips and tricks we learned in our time logged with the VB2 to really maximize your use and experience with it.

Fully Load The Chamber

You often hear to not over-pack your vape for various reasons, mainly to not gunk up your chamber. With the VB2 it is safe to load up the chamber fully with your ground up dry material, even packing it down and adding a bit more on top to really fill it up, but only to the top of the screen’s metal ring of course.

The one danger here is damaging the stir tool, but if you are careful it is not an issue. Put the cap on and hold the stir tool in place while you twist the outer ring down onto the vape. Do NOT use the stir tool until your the VB has gone through one heat cycle and hits the auto shut off point. Turn the VaporBLUNT back on right away and stir your material and the results are as if you just loaded it up. In the end you’ll have completely vaped material and a long session.

Note: If you are looking for a quick session you do NOT want to use this tip.

Find Your Favorite Heat Levels

Explore the different heat levels the VB has to offer. Level 5 is going to burn your material so you want to avoid that heat level unless you are using concentrates, but 1 through 4 are OK, just keep in mind 4 may be too harsh for some.

I personally start mine off at 3 and use it until the auto shut off kicks in and then I use the above tip of turning it back on and giving it a thorough stir. I then set it to level 4 for the rest of the session to really get every last bit out of the chamber. This might be too hot for some, so you can use the same tactic using heat level 1 and then 2 or heat level 2 and then 3. Either way, experiment with the different levels to fully take advantage of your VB.

Maintaining The Screen

One major improvement to the VaporBLUNT 2.0 from its first iteration was the screen design. The new basket design holds more, is easier to clean, but it can be just as hard to remove from the vaporizer as the VB1 screen was if you are not careful.

When you put the screen into the chamber push it all the way in, but don’t go overboard with pushing it down there. I always left one side of the screen slightly tilted up so I could work a small flat area under there, like the flat end of a dabber, to easily lift the screen out.

This is all avoidable though if after each use you pop out the screen, brush off the chamber as well as the screen and then put it back in the vape. If you continually just keep clearing the screen while it is int he vape, even if you brush it clean, then just reload it, then you are going to eventually find the screen extremely hard to remove. The best advice is to clean it off and remove it after each use, but leaving one side of the screen raised slightly is a good back up plan in case you get forgetful/lazy like I did many times 😉

Remove the screen between uses to brush the bottom thoroughly.

Use The VaporBLUNT While Plugged In When Possible

If you are sitting in one place and your VB is at half a charge, more than enough for a session, but you don’t plan on doing a lot of moving around I highly recommend using the VaporBLUNT 2.0 while plugged in. You’ll notice the green lights that indicate the heat level glow brighter and in my opinion the vape seems to perform slightly better.

Now, this could be in my head, but definitely try it for yourself and let us know how it works out for you. I seemed to get bigger clouds every time I was using it while plugged in.

Any questions about any of these tips or tricks? Have a tip or trick of your own for the VaporBLUNT 2.0 you want to add? Let us know in the comments and we’ll try it out and maybe even add it to the post and credit you if it works!
